Now and then, we host Innovation days at Levels, which are full-day events when we team up cross-functionally to focus on play and exploration. At one such event, COO Linus Granborg, together with our developers and designers, cooked up the origins of Strike, an app that lets aspiring athletes create and share their own sports cards digitally.
Not much later, the project was joined by Janis Petrov, son of Russian hockey legend Vladimir Petrov, who brought his vast network and a great deal of experience from the world of youth sports to the table.
The idea behind Strike is to work closely with sports associations to help young athletes celebrate their sports memories and create their own sports cards. Thus, the app provides the digital conditions needed to bolster the spirit of the association and its members as well as strengthen its brand in the eyes of partners and sponsors.
